Hello, I have three very different dogs. One is Bear. He is a Chow mixed with German Shepherd. The second one is Nipp. He is a Border Collie. Last but not least is Casonova and he is a Blue Heeler mixed with a Herder (herding dog). All three of my dogs are scared of the mirror. Most of all they can not stand the broom or clothes baskets. Our dog, Ezra, will turn one soon. We've had him since a puppy and he's great. He is scared of the usual things -- lightning and the vacuum cleaner. But, recently I brought home a big, foam finger from our city's pro football team that says, "We're Number One." When I "aim" the finger at Ezra, he can't run away fast enough. My dog, Buddy, gets scared by loud noises, like the smoke alarm and firecrackers. Sometimes he hides in the bathtub or under the deck outside when he hears firecrackers on the 4th of July. He's also scared of baby gates! We put them up between rooms so he can't get into them, and he's scared to death of them. When they fall over, he freaks out and runs away.
