How To Love Your Dog

MEET KELLY

Kelly is a cute black, white, and tan collie. She is a registered Therapy Dog. This means she is allowed to go into hospitals and schools because she is healthy and well-behaved. Kelly has spent ten years visiting school children and patients in hospitals.

Here is Kelly with second graders where she helps them learn about being good pet owners. One thing the kids learn is that dogs appreciate privacy sometimes, just like they do.

To be a Therapy Dog your dog must have an excellent temperament. If you want your dog to be a therapy dog, it is a good idea to give your dog lots of experience with different people and places.
